I am an amateur, but I made some blueberry liqueur that just turned out killer! It was a simple recipe... This was made in a quart mason jar.....
Add berries and alcohol to jar, steep for a little over a month. Boil sugar and water together. Strain and filter and add syrup, and age another month and more. It was great!
I left the berries whole, and the sweetener was 1 C sugar to a half C boiling water.
